How come final fantasy XII makes you play as that gay little Vahn?

I actually stopped playing it to start playing Final Fantasy X

Omg I cant play anymore...

Im getting on the 360 lets hope I can find some people to play with...

Or At least a good game to play where I dont have to deal with 8 year olds or other people mostly...
